Well, how should i put this? Up till now, i still can't really believe that I was given a chance to be a mentor for VIP 13/12. Have to thank Qiu Yu Sir for giving me this chance given that I could not commit myself fully for the whole entire program. Truthfully speaking, initially, I was reluctant to take up the role of a mentor as I felt that I'm not capable enough to guide and groom them to become a VI and taking into consideration my internship and stuff. Another thought was that i don't really know this batch of juniors and hence, would be happier and more excited if i could be a mentor for the next batch of VIs as I've seen them going through UIP and ULP and next would be their VIP. The progression, the improvement that i see in them would be my sense of motivation I would say.
I believe in fate. Since God brought us together and I shall make the best out of everything. Charlie is my source of motivation. We have went through quite a fair bit together especially during Ex Universality, it really brought us closer and taught us how to cherish each other and treasure the time we have with one another. I hope that bond that we shared would last and i love you my Charlie Champions!
As a mentor of VIP 13/12, be it from whichever platoon, I hope that you guys will bond as one and continue advancing as one. Leave no man behind. It's just the beginning, there's still a long way to go. Just hope that you all would not turn out like us, the 11/10, only able to see 11 or 10 people for various events (or even lesser than that).
Although the journey has not been a smooth sailing one but i would say that I've learnt a lot from the seniors and you, 13/12 and I've no regrets!
